As some of you may know, when you work at Ben and Jerry’s here, you get three pints of ice cream a day. My new favorite flavor is the new flavor, Mission To Marzipan. It’s a sweet cream ice cream with almond cookies with a marzipan swirl. I sat down in my room the other night with some and all of a sudden the kitties decided they wanted to try. It’s amazing how fast they come when they know food is around!
I married my Robbie. I am grateful for the four years and 4 months we were married. They were amazing and full of adventures!
Marie and I had our first day of work together last week. So far we have been working well together. She is very good at tours, so I have a lot to live up to. I have been following her around the past few days to learn everything. It’s been fun!
Marie and I took a road trip last week to Vermont. Marie flew out to MN, stayed a few days and then we left with my three cats. Traveling with three cats is not very fun. One would start meowing and then the others would. I had one hard case and two soft cases and I learned that cats nails will ruin the soft case. Luckily they didn’t break through the case. Kimi was the best cat on the trip. He learned if he kept pushing his head against the case, he would eventually get out because we felt bad. He would sleep for hours on Marie’s lap. We took three days to get here. I drove about 8 hours a day. The iphone was extremely helpful on my trip, but didn’t work so well when there was no reception for an hour. We made it to Vermont on my birthday, May 4th and I’m enjoying relaxing and being with my parents and sister.

I am so thankful that Rob had such great friends. Last night Keith, Kurt and Will came over and helped organize Rob’s workshop full of rc cars and helicopters. Without them, I would be putting things in the wrong place and throwing away the wrong things. Apparently, a sheet of blue carbon fiber is very useful in the rc world and does not belong in the trash. It’s been a good learning experience for me. The boys definitely knew their stuff and it was fun to see them know what goes together. I was pretty lost when I tried to organize it by myself. My favorite quote from last night was “How was Rob married and still have all these toys?” I have so many memories of Rob playing with all the toys, that I am very glad he had them all. If I can figure out how to use any… I’ll try to start playing with them!

Since tax season ended yesterday I decided to get my wii fit out and get in shape. I got it out and got off for a minute and kari got right on it and won’t leave. Cats are so funny.
