I was hoping that you might help us get some votes for the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation through Chase Community Giving on Facebook.

This program is giving away $5 million in funding to charities. In the first round, the top 200 charities get $20,000 each. It would be great to get in the top 200, so I’m asking for your help.

There are quite a few charities helping genetic conditions and a ton of very worthy charities–so help them out with possible funding!

1. Search Chase Community Giving, ( you first have to join or LIKE IT!!) then click on voting link on the top of the site.

2. In Charity Search box, type in Loeys-Dietz

3. Click on the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation name

4. There should be a button saying “VOTE”  in upper right corner, press it

5. Then…If you allow to post on your wall, asking for FRIENDS TO PLEASE VOTE, that would be sooooo awesome!!

(To check if your vote went through–if you go to the Chase link again, press LEADERBOARD, then MY VOTES, it’ll tell you who you’ve voted for. Alternatively, if you go through the first three steps above, if it says VOTE–you need to vote, if it say SHARE WITH FRIEND, you’ve voted!!

The first place we decided to go to was the 1976 Olympic sight. We originally wanted to go to the Biodome, but the line just to get tickets was 45 minutes long and we decided to walk around Montreal instead.

We went on their subway.

Bri didn’t like that his iphone didn’t work, but we still managed to make it around Montreal.

We went in old Montreal. It was so cool looking! We ate crepes at a little corner place and they were yummy.

I helped out my mom when she was in the hospital (she is doing better) a few weeks ago and took over her job. My mom’s boss and family put this basket together for a thank you. They definitely know me well by getting me a ton of treats! Yum!

I just uploaded pictures from my camera to my computer and found this picture. My dad must have taken it. I love how my mom is feeding all the cats her leftovers.

I was able to attend my friend Meg’s baby shower. We graduated from High school together. I am enjoying seeing old friends and catching up. She is having a boy in September. I am very excited for her!

Bri came to visit for the fourth of July weekend. Kari got dressed up for him.

I took Bri through some fun roads that Rob liked to drive in Stowe. We stopped at Von trapps lodge to look around.

For all of you that know Bri, this is a pose you see a lot when hanging out with him. =)

We went water tubing. This is Carrie and I. I got pretty bruised up from that tube. It was worth it though!

We went out on the jet ski. 

I never ever thought I would sing karaoke with Carrie’s dad, Glenn. We enjoyed singing!

One of the highlights was this game, Don Don king. Marie was addicted to it. Marie is the 13th official Don Don King and I am the 14th. 

We woke up on monday and had a huge breakfast all prepared for us! 

Marie and I didn’t want to leave when Monday night came. I am thinking of ways to go back up to the camp. I just have to recover from sleep and all my bruises!
